Stepp Cemetery, Martinsville, IN
October, 2006 & May, 2007

Located deep in the heart of the Morgan-Monroe State Forest, south of Martinsville, Indiana, Stepp Cemetery is a local legend.  The small graveyard is home to only a few dozen graves, most from the 19th century.  It is a secluded and peaceful spot, however, local lore tells a tale of a restless spirit wandering among the headstones.

Legend has it that Stepp Cemetery is home to a mysterious woman who can sometimes be seen sittting on a tree stump near the back of the graveyard.  It has been claimed that she is often seen gently rocking a baby in her arms.

iGHOST first visited Stepp Cemetery in mid October, but unfortunately it was a busy night, as several students from a nearby university chose to visit as well.  It was difficult (if not impossible) to conduct a proper investigation, but based on the strength of its legend, iGHOST plans to return to the graveyard soon.

iGHOST returned to Stepp Cemetery in May, 2007.  During the investigation, the team took numerous digital pictures, EMF sweeps, and attempted to capture many EVP's,  but did not find anything significant during this investigation either.
